Local TV’s New Deadlines

Here is the latest in the series of essays, “TV News in a Postmodern World.” Some of you will be happy to know that I don’t even mention the word “Postmodern” in this one. It’s called “Local TV’s New Deadlines,” and it takes a serious look at the deadline shift required by an Internet strategy that legitimately tries to meet the information needs of a station’s online constituency.
