Broadband growth pacing at 20 percent

According to new data from the FCC, broadband grew at a rate of 20 percent during the last six months of 2003. The Commission says there were nearly 30 million households with broadband by the end of the year. That’s about a fourth of all U.S. households.

This is the key metric to watch as change in our industry continues unabated, for broadband users are quite different than those who connect via dial-up.
